Selling at an Oregon flea market
Oregon levies no general sales tax, so there is no permit to sell and nothing to collect at the stall. That is a real advantage over every other state in this directory, and it is why the permit box on these pages is short. The one document worth having is the Oregon Business Registry Resale Certificate, which is what an out-of-state wholesaler will ask for, though the state is explicit that a seller may accept it and is not required to.
The trade-off is that Oregon never developed the dense weekly swap meet circuit California and Arizona have. What it has instead is a smaller number of large periodic events, so planning around dates matters more here than anywhere else on this site.
Published day rates in the region run from $20 at the cheapest markets to $100 for a premium reserved space. Oregon has no general sales tax, so there is no permit to sell and nothing to collect, the lowest barrier to entry of any state in this directory. To buy wholesale for resale you use the Oregon Business Registry Resale Certificate, which out-of-state sellers may accept but are not required to.
