We sell wholesale liquidation merchandise to businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, what we do with it, and what choices you have. It also covers our use of cookies.

01WHAT WE COLLECT

When you register or contact us, you give us information such as your name, company name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, resale permit number, and details about your business and what you are looking to buy.

When you use our website, we automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit.

When you place an order, we keep a record of what you bought, when, and how you paid.

02WHAT WE USE IT FOR

We use your information to set up and manage your account, process and deliver your orders, quote shipping, answer your questions, handle tax exemptions, meet our legal and accounting obligations, improve our website, and — where you have agreed to it — send you marketing.

03PAYMENT INFORMATION

Card payments made in person at our facilities are processed on our own card terminal. Card payments made online are processed through our bank's payment gateway. We do not store your full card number.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share it only where we need to in order to run the business: with carriers and freight forwarders to ship your goods, with our bank and payment gateway to take payment, with the software and hosting providers that run our website and systems, and with our accountants and advisors. We also share it where the law requires it.

05COOKIES

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We use them for three things:

Strictly necessary — to keep you signed in, remember what is in your cart, keep your session secure, and remember your language and currency. The website does not work without these, and they are always on.

Analytics — to understand how people use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this.

Advertising — to show our products to people who have visited our site, and to measure whether our advertising works. We use Google advertising tools for this.

06MARKETING

We only send marketing emails, texts or WhatsApp messages if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email, replying STOP to any text, or emailing sales@viatrading.com. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Opting out of marketing does not stop order confirmations, payment instructions and other messages about your purchases.

07HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need it for tax, accounting and legal reasons.

08SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we use appropriate safeguards and limit access to staff who need it to do their job.

09YOUR RIGHTS

Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email sales@viatrading.com or call 877-202-3616 and we will take care of it.

If you are in California, you also have the right to know what personal information we collect and who we share it with, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to object to how we use your information, to ask us to limit how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to complain to your data protection authority. We process your information because we need it to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, for our legitimate business interests, or because you have consented. Your information is processed in the United States.
