  • 44% of email recipients made at least one purchase last year based on a promotional email (Convince & Convert)
  • 69% of email recipients report email as Spam based solely on the subject line
  • 35% of email recipients open email based on the subject alone
  • Subject lines with 45 characters or less tend to receive the best open rates
  • Power words are proven to attract attention and persuade customers to take action (based on a Yale study). For example the words You, Because, New, Free, The, Instantly
  • Adjectives tend to slow the reader down, while verbs will increase credibility and provide additional information
  • Personalized emails improve click-through rates by an average of 14%
