How to Get a Shipping Quote
From a Product Listing
Click Add to cart on the listing you are interested in.
The item will be added to your Shopping Cart, where you can review the available shipping options and estimated shipping cost.
From the Load Center
You can also obtain shipping quotes for one or more listings directly from the Load Center.
Simply:
- Select the SKUs you are interested in using the checkboxes.
- Click Add selected to cart.
- Review the available shipping options and estimated cost.
Quote Multiple Items Together
You can add multiple SKUs to your Shopping Cart and view the estimated shipping cost for the combined order.
Add or remove merchandise at any time and the shipping estimate will update, allowing you to see how different order combinations affect your freight cost.
This makes it easy to compare merchandise and shipping costs before deciding what to purchase.
What Can Be Quoted Online?
Real-time shipping quotes are available for most Via Trading listings, including many:
- Case shipments
- Pallet shipments
- Multi-pallet shipments
- LTL freight shipments
- Most but not all domestic truckload shipments
The shipping methods available will depend on the merchandise, shipment origin and delivery destination.
Shipments Requiring a Manual Quote
Some shipments cannot currently be quoted automatically online, including:
- International pallet shipments
- Ocean containers
- Certain truckload shipments will need a manual quote
About Your Shipping Quote
Shipping costs displayed online are calculated using the information available when the quote is generated.
Most shipping quotes apply as displayed. However, we reserve the right to correct or adjust a shipping charge if the quote was generated in error or based on incomplete or inaccurate information.
