HR Generalist

Job Function: Supports company departments through the coordination and implementation of human resources programs.

Pincipal Activities Performed by the Incumbent:

  • Management and upkeep of Time and Attendance Systems, Payroll Data Collection and authorization verifications.
  • Maintains open communication with HR and Payroll vendor
  • Timely input of Payroll for semi-monthly payroll and follow up on outstanding payroll and HR documents. This includes the accurate processing of all payroll data including - wages, commissions, hours, overtime, paid time off, voluntary and involuntary deductions
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices Payroll and HR
  • Answers routine questions from employees and applicants about employment procedures and policies, benefits and other HR-related topics.
  • Advises on general HR related items
  • Processing of new hires, terminations, job changes, organizational structure changes
  • Coordination of staffing with Temp Agencies verification of billing and relationship with Temp Agencies.
  • Ability to review, analyze and create SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), HR Procedures, HR Policies and related memos
  • OSHA Compliance management
  • Health and Safety Program Management
  • Orients new employees to policies and employee benefits
  • Documents and inputs benefits changes
  • Assists in resolving any benefit related issues
  • Conducts exit interviews for terminating employees
  • Performs routine recruiting functions, such as posting jobs internally and externally; screening job applicants; coordinating interview schedules; preparing new hire forms, policies and benefits information for newly hired team members
  • Assists department heads in completing worker compensation incident and claims forms and submits accordingly
  • Reviews Via Trading Team Member Manual to ensure policies meet specified needs and are in compliance

Account Manager

This is an in-house position in our warehouse facility in Lynwood, California.

Job Function:

Drive and lead sales growth by building a network of long term, repeat customers. The Account Manager will be a member of the Sales Team with the core responsibility of servicing and developing our customers in order to ensure long term, repeat business.

Principal Activities Performed by the Incumbent:

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets set out in the annual plan using persuasive business arguments.
  • Achieve and maintain excellent communication with all customers on the business benefits of sourcing their supply through Via Trading and respond effectively to our customers' needs.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, collaboration, building trust and responsiveness.
  • Engage customers and internal teams to better enable ongoing business for the purpose of continued revenue streams.
  • Contact and activate new customers in line with our annual new business development targets and retain existing customers by providing excellent service levels.
  • Be alert to, and report on all significant information, which may affect Via Trading business such as retail developments and competitor activities.
  • Stay current on industry trends and issues. Participate in and attend industry related events.

Compensation:

Job Function:

Direct the receiving, shipping and warehousing of Via Trading merchandise to ensure timely delivery and availability of merchandise.

Principal activities performed by the Incumbent:

  • Oversee the timely receipt and unloading of merchandise, the accuracy of paperwork submitted and the release of goods as per Via Trading?s policies
  • Deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Ensure the creation of and maintenance of a safe environment.
  • Be alert to activities that may result in the loss of merchandise and report any incidents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized unloading/loading area.
  • Responsible for enforcing all applicable company policies and procedures.
