Responsibilities:

 

  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of key HR areas including, HR compliance, employee relations, associate training and development and management coaching.
  • Provide advice and counsel to management areas such as employee relations, performance management, career development, delivery of training initiatives, salary administration and compliance with firm initiatives and programs.
  • Ensure that HR processes and procedures are consistently communicated and administered throughout all business situations.
  • Directs and assists in the development and coordination of training programs, personal and career development and performance appraisal process.
  • Reviews and analyzes wage and salary reports and data to establish competitive compensation plans.
  • Manage and maintain employee relations issues and manage all aspects of employee retention.
  • Consult with management in establishing approaches to enhance/reward individual or team performance and conducting periodic training sessions.
  • Coordinate employee leave programs (FMLA, LOA)
  • Assure that company employment, safety, labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies and practices comply with federal and state labor laws.
  • Answers employee and managers questions about human resources issues and policies.
  • Utilize HRIS system to process and track vital employee information.
  • Prepare Turnover, New Hire, Compensation and related employee reports.
  • Recruit and manage pre-employment candidate screening.
  • First contact for all work place injuries.
  • Facilitate workers compensation process and paperwork.
  • Performs benefits administration duties.
  • Serves as liaison between insurance companies and employees and Process all benefits changes.
  • Answer employee benefits questions.
  • Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned



 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ideal candidate would have a minimal of 7+ years of experience in the HR field. 
  • Strong relationship building, communication, and problem solving/analytical skills.
  • Must be able to articulate ideas clearly and concisely to people at all levels in the organization.
  • Must have strong advising skills, comprehensive understanding of HR principles, in-depth knowledge of employment law and experience in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a must; other languages will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt work style to client organization.

 Successful candidate will receive

Compensation:

Up to $ 60,000 annual salary dependent on qualifications. Exempt Position. This is a full time position (40 hours + per week).
After trial period of 90 days you will receive, Medical & Dental Benefits and Paid Vacation.


 

Bilingual Account Manager (Inside Sales Representative)

We’re looking to complement our account management team with a commercially astute
team player capable of delivering growth within a highly dynamic industry.  
You will gain significant development and exposure to all facets of sales.   

Principal Accountabilities

  • Achieve sales targets set out in the annual plan using persuasive business arguments.

  • Achieve and maintain excellent communication with all customers on the business benefits of
    sourcing their supply through Via Trading and respond effectively to our customers' needs.

  • Contact and activate new customers in line with our annual business development targets
    and retain existing customers by providing excellent service levels.
  • Be alert to, and report on all significant information, which may affect Via Trading business
  • Complete all updates accurately and on time.
  • Adhere strictly to the Company's safety and administrative policies at all times.

 

The position operates out of our business premises and is office/warehouse based.

 

 Incumbent Requirements

 

  • Literate, Numerate, PC skills (e.g. excel, emails), good practical and analytical skills.
  •   Fluent in English.  Fluency in Spanish and/or other language is considered a plus.
  • Employment record should show related sales experience, logical career progression, honesty and reliability. 
    Experience in salvage and/or close out industry is considered a plus.

  •  Sales focused with a ‘can-do’ approach and strong work ethic.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Smart appearance.
  • Background check appropriate to job.


The successful candidate will receive:

-       An uncapped commission and the potential to earn in excess of $100k upon achievement of objectives

-       2 week on-boarding training and subsequent monthly training to develop existing and new skills

-       Outstanding Candidates may be offered Signing on Bonus and/or Relocation Expenses
